DENS Facility Services is proud and excited to be participating in the Corporate Fundraising Challenge through Life Science Cares (LSC) around their Mini Golf for Good Tournament. DENS has committed to raising $2,000 to benefit LSC and their network of nonprofit organizations working to dismantle poverty in the community. We’ve set up a fundraising page here so that our employees can notify their clients about this philanthropic opportunity, and track our progress. LSC aims to raise $50,000 through this effort.
Life Science Cares provides a platform for companies and their employees to make a difference. They make impactful grants to community nonprofits that are implementing research-driven solutions in the areas of survival, education, and economic sustainability and supercharge these grants with volunteer hours, donated goods, strategic support, and advocacy.
Our contributions will be used to fund LSC’s yearend grant making to a network of 27 nonprofit partners working to alleviate the impacts of poverty in our communities.
We’re asking our team to share this link widely with their network. Together, we can raise $2,000 to help Life Science Cares. As LSC likes to make things fun, their giving awards to companies who have the:
- Highest percentage of employees giving at least $10;
- Highest total amount raised; and
- Most creative fundraising tactic.
In addition, through our participation we can send one team of four players to compete in the Mini Golf for Good Tournament. This fun and competitive event features three nine-hole mini golf courses popping up in the middle of Tech Square, with company teams putting for a variety of trophies. This party attracts 600+ employees of life science companies to enjoy the food trucks, free beer, lawn games, raffle, and crazy costumes of their peers. Awards will be given to the team with the Most Holes in One, Best Outfits, Best Team Names & Worst Score.
We know you’re a competitive bunch and so let’s support our community in true DENS spirit!
